        Verdict

        Novellen Lad has dropped to a fair mark after a long losing run and showed signs of a revival last time. JONTLEMAN couldn't handle Chester but had been running so well previously that the run should be forgiven and he looks the one to be on. Light From Mars didn't handle the soft ground at Haydock so wouldn't want any rain though he has a very good chance on his previous run behind Crew Cut here. Bajan Bear is generally consistent and scored on the soft at Windsor last month so rain would do his chances no harm.
