      Verdict

      Postwick opened his account with a cosy victory at Newbury but is 5lb higher. Captain Kane failed at Thirsk when bidding for a treble though this quicker ground will suit both him and SUPER CHIEF. The race was already over before the latter found top gear on his handicap debut but the Gosdens’ colt gets another chance in this. Repertoire is upped in trip and blinkers are applied to Rechercher.
