In depth

Verdict

Wahash started favourite on his debut on soft ground at Newbury but faded after being up with the pace. He will have come on for the run but faces some nicely-bred newcomers. Best Blue cost 30,000gns as a yearling and 150,000 euros earlier this year so has obviously impressed. DRAGSTONE ROCK is from the first crop of the speedy juvenile Dragon Pulse and his dam has produced winners with her first two foals to race. He gets a tentative vote though Glorious Rocket is a half-brother to seven winners and his stable has struck form while King of Nepal is related to six winners and out of a winning miler. Mucho Applause is by Acclamation out of a 1m3f winner while Unabated is out of a 5f two-year-old winner so should have plenty of pace.
