In depth

Verdict

The Conditions race for fillies can go to Fruit Of Glory, with her main dangers reckoned to be Paradise Isle and Forever Phoenix. Fruit Of Glory comes into this race on the back of a Vodafone "Dash" fourth behind Fire Up The Band. A repeat of that level of form over this longer trip, which should present little in the way of problems, would mean she is set for a big run. All For Laura showed some decent form at two but will be doing well to win first time up at three to beat her older counterparts. Valjarv and Paradise Isle are closely matched on a Newmarket Listed run on soft going last season and, despite the fact that the latter ran a shocker at Bath on her return, her trainer is convinced that the soft going that day was all against her. She warrants serious consideration here, as does Forever Phoenix, whose form rates the equal of her's. The others, including the admirable Dragon Flyer, having something to do based on these terms which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Fruit Of Glory.
