Verdict
WHITE WITCH produced a pleasing performance in what looked a strong Haydock maiden on her debut and with improvement guaranteed will be difficult to beat. Lady Macapa did nothing wrong on her debut here last month and it will be a surprise if she's not in the firing-line. Hajeer missed the break at Kempton before staying on nicely and Alaskan Phantom didn't look at her best at Windsor after a good run there the previous month. There are several very smart looking newcomers on show including Media Book from last year's winning yard.
