      Verdict

Quick was the outsider of three when winning at Brighton and she is one of several who are probably better suited by shorter trips. Leader Writer is another but Isomer stays 1m2f, though has yet to win beyond a mile. Felix looked promising last year and ran well on his reappearance but has finished last in both starts since and been gelded and undergone wind surgery in recent months. THIMBLEWEED could profit if Harry Bentley can turn this into a test of stamina as the top weight has been racing over further since completing a double over this trip last summer. Voice Of Calm’s novice form doesn’t look good enough for a race like this.
