Verdict
Donny Rover, the only course and distance winner in the line-up, had dropped to his previous winning mark when bouncing back to form at York but has gone up 5lb and has never won from this high. Master The World has only won twice - both times over a mile - while Odeon has been running poorly over much longer trips. RICHARD OF YORKE made a successful debut at Windsor before narrowly beaten into fourth in a Sandown handicap. He didn't look suited by a slow early pace there and, with a stronger gallop likely, can get back to winning ways. Burano is a regular at this sort of level and quite capable of scoring from this mark so he could provide the main threat with Frankie on board.
