Verdict

Fancy Lady sets the standard here, having shown promise after missing the break on her debut. A half-sister to several winners, she will be suited by this trip and looks the one to beat. Capulette, a February foal, comes from the same family as the high class juvenile Karasta and with Richard Quinn on board, she looks sure to give a good account, while Montmartre, a half-sister to Broughton's Pride, must be noted if the market speaks in her favour. Russian Rhythm, a 440,000 guinea yearling, Spritsail, a half-sister to three winners and Zither, from the same family as 1994 2000 Guineas runner-up Grand Lodge, combine to make this an interesting heat.
