    Verdict

Cartmell Cleave remains 3lb higher than when winning this last year and was a long way behind third placed FLOWERS ON VENUS at Ascot last time. David Evans’ charge was beaten less than a length on that occasion and can come out best in this. Valbchek has been off the track for over a year now but has the past form to figure while Edward Lewis won a maiden race at Doncaster recently and can also get involved. Realize is better on the all-weather hence a much lower mark on this surface while Amood is upped in class after a second over track and trip.
