Verdict
A cracking good line-up for the Sun Chariot, one in which we like the look of Peeress ahead of Alexander Goldrun and Flashy Wings. Red Evie benefited from a very good ride to land a competitive Group 1 race at The Curragh last time although she is now a pound worse off for the short head that she beat the fast-finishing Peeress, who also won this race last year, while Flashy Wings, who was also fast-finishing, meeting her on the same terms having been beaten three quarters of a length. However, we feel that Peeress might come out best today. Of course, the multiple Group 1 winners Alexander Goldrun and Soviet Song rate as major players, while much as a leg infection has affected the 1,000 Guineas winner Speciosa's preparation for this contest, Pam Sly's admirable filly is still respected. Overall, though, we will side with Peeress to gain back-to-back victories in this prestigious race.
