Verdict

Romanor and Kauto The King are proving hard to win with nowadays and both are carrying 4lb overweight in this. However, the latter did finish ahead of Blueberry Wine at Stratford in July and Donald McCain’s charge had run Stepney Causeway to a length at Worcester earlier and is 5lb better off. Milton Harris’ six-year-old won here 11 days ago, despite blowing the start, but EL BORRACHO appears a much less complicated ride and it would be no surprise to see the recent Bangor scorer make all again around here.
