Verdict

All of these have some sort of question mark over them. Cosmic King landed a three-runner affair last time but the level of the form is dubious although he does have solid claims off the bottom rung. Ink Master and Bramble Brook are consistent enough but both do appear in the grip of the handicapper and Royal Plaza has been beaten a long way on his last two starts and needs to rediscover his best. NEW MILLENNIUM is far from bombproof but this confirmed front-runner should be suited by this sharp track and can hopefully get into a smooth early rhythm and see off his four rivals. Trip and ground should be fine for the Hobbs gelding.
