In depth

Verdict

Mr Ben Gun has been in good form of late he was a good third behind Polar Champ last time goes on any ground and he is taken to get back on the winning trail with conditions again in his favour. Douceur Des Songes looks the main danger but he may be worth taking on because although he travels well through out his races he finds very little off the bridle. Glacial River would also have a chance on his best form but he has to put a disappointing run last time out behind him. Nova Girl has ran well in defeat of late but looks in the handicappers grip. Commanche Jim was a fair fourth in a similar contest on fast ground on his debut this season, he will have come on for the run and will enjoy this softer ground.
