NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

ASHUTOR probably prefers a softer surface and had no excuses when only third at Southwell last week but this is a much weaker contest and he should get back to winning ways. Shareef Star won on the all-weather for Sir Michael Stoute but finished tailed off on his hurdling debut in March and will need to improve on that. Sponthus placed between the flags but showed nothing in his only bumper start.
