In depth

Verdict

Gevrey Chambertin is best over fences and looks harshly treated over hurdles at present. Morito Du Berlais has gone up 9lb since winning at Ascot in March and is also high enough now while Just A Normal Day failed to land a hat-trick at Cartmel in July when 6lb lower. MILAN BOUND is not an easy ride but has given the impression that this sort of trip will suit. He's gone well after a break in the past so gets a tentative vote with On The Bridge struggling off higher marks since winning at Worcester in July.
