In depth

Verdict

Minibule, Monsal Dale and Sir Walter are the three we like here in a desperate affair and we will give the nomination to Minibule. The selection is one of the least exposed in the field and a reproduction of his latest fourth behind Celebration Town in similar grade should suffice in what looks an easier race. Monsal Dale put up his best effort for some time when beaten by Princess Aimee at Market Rasen last time. He has got obvious claims but he does not look the easiest of rides and as he has an inexperienced pilot in the plate he is passed over on this occasion. Sir Walter is a consistent sort who has been running in better company than this so he is another that has claims in this grade. However, he has a tendency to find at least one too good and for that reason he is opposed. Lady Ward is a course and distance winner who was pulled up last time. Providing he is back to full fitness than he would also have to enter calculations, but for the winner we return to Minibule.
