In depth

Verdict

Scrumpy Boy made every yard over course and distance last month in first-time cheekpieces. He returned an easy winner but that was his first success in 20 starts and he has a 13lb hike in the weights to contend with. OXWICH BAY makes more appeal raised only 4lb for winning at Chepstow and can complete a double in this less-competitive contest. Al Roc has plummeted down the weights and finished second of five runners at Plumpton last month but Premiumaccess is struggling for form and Dan's Chosen makes his chasing debut.
