Verdict
Pseudonym is selected to provide a quick follow up, with Ladino, Sonoma and Wee Dinns seen as the main dangers. There was a lot to like about the performance of Pseudonym at Hereford eight days ago as he was driven out to lower the colours of the fancied and in-form Brads House. With Tony McCoy in the plate again, and fast ground underfoot, he looks all set to defy a rise in the weights. Ladino was always held when second to Dune Raider on his last start at Exeter, but the slight step up in trip will suit and he should go well. Sonoma could well be on the upgrade, but it would be dangerous to write too much into her all the way success in a mares' only affair over the course-and-distance last month. Wee Dinns did not act on the soft ground when beaten at Stratford but looked much more the part when allowed to hear his hooves rattle at Kelso the time before and is another for the mix. However, we are happy to side with Pseudonym.
