In depth

Verdict

Atlantic Roller has been knocking on the door and was only beaten a length in what looked a decent novice event at Uttoxeter three weeks ago. Brody Bleu has been cleverly placed to complete a four-timer and began his winning run over course and distance. He's gone up another couple of pounds but is likely to be in the firing-line again, though he's closely matched with MISS TENACIOUS on collateral form. Ron Hodges' mare loves this sharp track and won over a longer trip twice over hurdles so might be the one to beat. Sporting Boy arrives off the back of a win at Stratford and has been successful off this mark in the past so can't be ignored.
