Monsieur Delage has something to find at the weights but can take this seller from Hawk's Landing and Three Lions. The gelding opened his account in this grade on his third run for his fledgling trainer with a gritty success at Worcester. Further improvement will be required in order for him to follow up here but he looks capable of finding it. Hawk's Landing drops in grade this afternoon and this multiple winner has to be feared but he is far from certain to be suited by this drop in trip on a sharp track and may lack the tactical speed required. Three Lions ran well at this level last time and may find further improvement for the fitting of blinkers but is another that would ideally be better served by further. Lesdream can prove best of the rest providing that he builds on his return but this can go the way of Monsieur Delage.
