Verdict

Kap West's record suggests he is one to leave out of calculations, even at this modest level, while Zhukov has been well beaten in a couple of runs at Fontwell since completing a quick double last month, though could do better on this easier surface. Haydens Mount ran his best race so far under Rules when a five-length runner-up to Temple Place over C&D eight days ago and connections will fancy their chances of reversing the places on 7lb better terms. But the one to beat may be MUJAMEAD, who is very well treated on his hurdles form if he can get his act together over the larger obstacles. His best form over timber was with plenty of give in the ground and he has conditions in his favour today.
