Ruby Isabel was due to run at Sedgefield yesterday so it remains to be seen whether she lines up and BEAUCHAMP VIKING may be the best alternative if she doesn't with Shindig also considered. Ruby Isabel got the better of Beauchamp Viking by two and three quarter lengths when making her chase debut at Towcester and may well be able to confirm that form on 5lb worse terms but she would pick up a 7lb penalty if successful at Sedgefield as well as coping with the demands of the race and the travelling. If she fails to make the line-up then Beauchamp Viking has an obvious chance as he's really got his act together over fences at Towcester the last twice. Shindig is an interesting contender on debut for a new yard with cheekpieces added to his tongue strap and it'll be fascinating to see if he attracts support in the market. Turbo Shandy ran quite well last time and may feature but it's hard to get away from Beauchamp Viking.
