In depth

Verdict

SURF AND TURF is often the subject of market confidence and while his supporters had to suffer a recent reverse at Ffos Las, the manner in which he previously despatched his rivals at Worcester suggested him as a horse to stay very much on the right side of. Fiftyonefiftyone dotted up over course-and-distance in May although he has questions to answer after two modest runs. Giant O Murchu is respected as a previous winner under similar conditions while De Faoithesdream has his first run in a handicap chase having been rated much higher over hurdles in the past. Mibleu may be a teenager but Colin Tizzard's inmate proved himself to be no back number when obliging recently over the minimum trip at Uttoxeter.
