Verdict

BENAYOUN is given the vote to land the opener at the main expense of Danish Monarch and Rehearsal. The selection returns to this sphere after a recent run on the level at Ripon. However, he went close in a selling hurdle at Towcester last month and if he can reproduce that form today then he would have a big chance. Danish Monarch showed improved form at Bangor earlier in the month in a better race than this and he has to be respected after that effort. Rehearsal is beginning to drop down the weights and although he may need a little more help from the handicapper before he is able to resume winning ways, he is certainly heading in the right direction. Bubbs and Gallant Eye boast course and distance winning form so they could go well at a price, but this looks a good opportunity for Benayoun who gets our vote.
