      A desperate affair gets proceedings under way but the principals look to be Saby, Oh Vlo and Plain Chant and the tentative vote goes to Saby. The selection was a fair third behind Indigo Jones a couple of runs ago before disappointing last time. However this faster ground should suit and in this poor race is taken to score. Oh Vlo rates a danger on his third behind Classic Rock a couple of runs ago over hurdles. However, he is far from consistent and he may come on for this his first run over fences. Plain Chant was a fair fourth behind Marked Man last time and he is sure to have come on for the run so he is another with place claims. Of the remainder Allied Imperial would have a chance on his old form but he has a 949-day absence to overcome and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum, for the winner we return to Saby.
