In depth
Verdict
Shortcross Storm is enjoying a good late spring and early summer campaign even if he was only fourth of eight when sent off market leader at Stratford. He should be a leading contender, although there's a slight concern about him on ground with cut. Blaze A Trail is interesting on a first start for John Flint, having previously landed a couple of races in Ireland for the Elizabeth Doyle team. Both are still young chasers and more should be forthcoming. Regaby is a possible despite being 1lb out of the handicap but POINTED AND SHARP has a fair profile over fences and can give a good account after being dropped quite a few pounds this season.
