      Verdict

      Several promising types face the starter here but this is surely within the scope of NEARBY. His jumping has been a little ponderous so far over fences but he would have won a decent contest at Uttoxeter last time had he jumped the last cleanly and has nothing to fear from fourth Mayberry on that run. Bermuda Boy is becoming expensive to follow and was beaten out of sight here last month, though probably didn't stay the longer trip. Haarth Sovereign is interesting tackling larger obstacles for the first time as is Lancetto, who was a decent hurdler in Ireland and will be all the better for a recent spin over timber at Ffos Las.
