Verdict

There was cut in the ground for both of Riviere Argentee’s recent victories and it remains to be seen how she copes on this faster surface. KIRUNA PEAK beat a subsequent winner at Huntingdon back in May to open her account. A conditional’s allowance negates most of a penalty and Fergal O’Brien’s mare should make another bold bid. Vanderbilt was narrowly beaten over these obstacles last month and can also figure but Minella Rising was still a long way behind the winner when runner-up in a maiden hurdle here last time. Ourmullion was placed at Uttoxeter recently though looks no nearer winning over timber as yet.
