Verdict
Last month’s easy Stratford winner Red Tornado, second over track and trip in June, is the form choice in this but taken on with the fast-improving PASSING CALL (NAP). Alan King’s mare is receiving the best part of a stone and she followed up a maiden win at Worcester with equally-impressive success under a penalty at Bangor for which she has only been raised a pound. Court Minstrel has earned more than £1/4 million in prize money but is starting to look a light of former days and Garo De Juilley is 8lb higher than when second at Wincanton in May. Utility and Bleu Et Noir are best watched at present.
