Verdict

BERMEO has a pretty good strike-rate for a chaser and Hurricane Arcadio could give the form of his latest Uttoxeter victory a boost in the previous race. Track, trip and ground are all ideal for Johnny Farrelly’s nine-year-old who looks the one to beat. Glengar has taken well to fences but never looked like following up an earlier victory at Southwell last time and has been raised another 2lb. Sizing At Midnight may need this and Calin Du Brizais and Lotus Pond are even harder to recommend on recent form.
