In depth

Verdict

TOP CHIEF (NAP) didn't shape at all badly on first start for Colin Tizzard when a staying-on fourth here behind King's Reste just over a week ago. He is well worth another chance off the same mark, stepping up in trip by what should prove a beneficial 5f and with first-time tongue tie and cheekpieces applied. Hopefully, Daryl Jacob can smuggle him round quietly and strike late. As You Like has come good for the O'Neill team this summer and remains on an acceptable mark after his latest wins. Trip and ground are fine and he's a leading player. Caviar D'Allen is one to watch in the market on a second run since wind surgery, Kalifourchon is down in grade and course and distance winner Fear Glic has definite place claims despite advancing years. Barton Rose is another each-way possible.
