Verdict

Despite the small field this is competitive enough, with the possible exception of OTAGE DE BRION. The Nigel Twiston-Davies trained selection has to shoulder penalties for a couple of wins over a similar trip at Bangor when he was thriving in the spring. He does have to overcome a break today but provided he is fit enough then this good jumper, who acts on a sound surface, should take control. Earth Dream has a fair bit to find at the weights but trip and ground should suit, while course and distance winner Gee Dee Nen has been finding it tougher under a penalty since, and this won't be any easier. Tipperary winner Pallasmore is another with ability but who, at these weights, may succumb to our pick Otage De Brion.
