In depth

Verdict

It has taken time for Big Knickers to display form over timber after showing promise in bumper company. However, her latest effort when runner-up, albeit easily swept aside by E Street Boy, suggests she's now on the upgrade. However, the mare has yet to operate on quick ground and must concede weight all round, so the consistent dual purpose performer, THE COMPOSER, is preferred. The gelding also finished behind E Street Boy last time, having previously scored decisively over this trip at Ffos Las and is proven under these conditions. Little Eaglet showed promise for Henrietta Knight and his latest effort for his new yard indicated he's steadily getting his act together.
