Verdict

QOUBILAI is by far the best of these on hurdling form after running Sidney Melbourne to a length on his return to timber after not appearing quite at ease over fences. The one concern is the form of the Vaughan yard which is just 1-49 for the season at the time of writing. However, he sets the standard and is preferred to a couple of promising bumper sorts making their debuts over hurdles. Lady Lectra disappointed in Listed grade last time on heavy ground but will be more at home down in grade and back on the quicker ground. She looks a useful sort whilst Neston Grace has shown a good attitude in winning her two bumpers and completes the shortlist.
