Archie Rice bids to get back on track after failing in his hat-trick bid over a shorter trip here in July, though he's been well beaten on the Flat since. Chantara Rose has yet to win a race but has been second four times in bumpers and over hurdles. SYKES is lightly-raced and got off the mark in a maiden hurdle just under a year ago. His absence since is a worry but he has more scope than Taylor, who still looks too high in the weights. Worcester fourth Bassarabad might appreciate today's better ground and looks the pick of the remainder.
