In depth

Verdict

Pingshou was a Grade 1 winner over hurdles. He fell on his last two starts over fences last season but has had wind surgery since and is not out of this. Master Work is facing good ground for the first time since winning at Fontwell a year ago while Monsieur D'Arque has got his act together this year. SCARDURA slipped and unseated his rider at the first at Perth last week but an earlier second at Stratford couldn’t have worked out much better and he is the least exposed of these.
