Verdict

Little form of any real note under Rules in a contest where the market should prove instructive. The Pipe and Scudamore representative, Rod's Dream is obviously one to note and the market should sort out stable expectations of the Hawke pair. Lapford Lad didn't run too badly on debut and should come on for that but maybe the two former point-to-pointers are the ones to focus upon. There seems little between Breaking Ground and HORSE FORCE ONE on achievements between the flags but the latter is preferred as he showed promise in a bumper back in 2015 and gained his latest victory over 2m4f which may just give him a speed edge over the Ford inmate.
