Verdict

BREZZA DI MARE stepped up on last year's form over a mile when going close over a longer trip at Chepstow on his return. He gets a real test of stamina here on his handicap debut, but looks up to it and Brian Meehan's charge gets the nod. 1m4f Pontefract winner Dark Dune came unstuck in better company at York last time and can do better here, while Kepler's Law takes another step up in distance after a cosy win at Kempton last week. Piera could also figure, but there looked something amiss with Investment World when he was tailed off at Southwell last time.
