Verdict
Mayfair Spirit just held on for victory over today’s trip at Salisbury back in April from the re-opposing HTILOMINLO. The former has a further 5lb rise to contend with but the latter has since gone close again and is taken to reverse running in this with Jim Crowley taking over the reins. Battle Of Wills has something to prove over the trip judged on last month’s comeback at Newmarket while Avenue Foch has been gelded since leaving Luca Cumani’s yard and steps up in distance on his reappearance. Deebee, Doughan Alb and Fantastic Blue all go handicapping for the first time and may finish closer.
