In depth

Verdict

CATATUMBO ended up well beaten at Newmarket but only weakened inside the final furlong so a drop back in distance should prove beneficial. Shakenotstirred had plenty of excuses when second at Sandown but she is one who may do better over further. Bloomington Bride hinted at ability at Thirsk while there are several newcomers worth a market check including Lady Fantasia, who is a half-sister to two winners, and the £100,000 yearling Sows.
