      Verdict

      Four of the seven declared runners in this are previous course and distance winners, though Ladweb is making a belated seasonal reappearance. Jashma, TALLINSKI and Classic Pursuit all carry penalties for recent victories but Brian Ellison’s charge beat the latter and also veteran Seamster here nine days ago and might be the one to double his recent tally. King Crimson is a threat, however, as he has won twice and been second three times in his last five starts so couldn’t be in better form and has won off a higher mark in the past.
