Verdict

Royal Silk has been raised 3lb for her narrow win at Goodwood but looks to be improving and it would be no surprise if she confirmed running with sixth Zoella. The latter represents Godolphin, who also have Chelmsford fifth Beautiful Ending in the line-up. Roxy Star could be anything after beating a subsequent winner on her debut at Kempton in the autumn and a mark of 78 looks fair, but a line through the runner-up suggests ELLE SHADE may have her measure and John Gosden's filly gets the nod dropping back in distance. Yankee Mail has more to do than when landing a Newcastle maiden but Deep Blue Sea was just touched off at Newmarket on her return and Bright Flash dotted up at Carlisle in September, though hasn't been seen since. Secret Lightning and Miss Van Gogh are upped in grade.
