      Verdict

Dream World’s winning run came to an end off today’s mark at York but an apprentice takes 5lb off her back today. Liamba has been in good form on the all-weather but is penalised for last week’s success at Southwell while Maid Of Spirit was placed over 5f on the Turf at Lingfield on her handicap bow and has plenty of scope for improvement. The latter comment also applies to DEBAWTRY, beaten less than a length over today’s trip at Thirsk on her reappearance and fancied to go one better with that pipe-opener under her belt. Rose Hip is another unexposed type and is preferred to Dr Doro.
