Verdict

This is something of a lottery with only a token vote going to Jonjo O’Neill’s STANLEY as both his wins when trained in Germany came in testing ground and he remains unexposed on the Flat. Dark Wonder has been in winning form over 7f and has scored over this longer trip before while Bluff Crag won in soft going at Newbury in June and is only 3lb higher today. Nona Blu has been thereabouts on faster going of late, See You When finished closer at Newbury last time and drops further down the weights and Billy Bond can also be given a chance.
