In depth
Verdict
Mount Kosciuszko and The Rain King failed to cope with a rise in the weights last time and the former beat TUDOR in heavy going at Epsom earlier. But Mark Loughnane’s charge can do better on today’s ground having gone close at Yarmouth on his penultimate start and is taken to reverse running. Tarbaan returned from a lay-off last month and improvement is expected but Harswell Duke and Alternative Fact look no nearer winning despite slipping down the weights.
