Verdict
Shesastar came good in a nursery at Doncaster in November but she'll encounter much quicker ground here and a drop to the minimum trip may also count against David Barron's filly. Preference is for SLUGGSY MORANT, who would probably have won over this C&D on his final start of 2010 had he enjoyed more luck in running. Henry Candy's gelding can finally get off the mark today. Perfect Pastime could figure if fully wound-up but Moremaloke looks worth opposing on the balance of his turf form and more interesting is Empress Royal, who won on good to firm ground at Redcar last year and will be all the better for a spin on the Fibresand in February.
