Verdict
This is not a strong event and we like the look of Little Ridge, with Blue Moon Hitman, Innstyle, Be My Alibi and Bella Boy Zee possibly proving the biggest dangers. The Hughie Morrison-trained selection looked to be on an upward curve of improvement when winning at Musselburgh last time and might be able to defy an eight-pound rise in the ratings. Innstyle was a good third to Milly Waters at Newbury last time, and seems to be improving now so has to be seriously considered. Bella Boy Zee won at Leicester in May but, admittedly, has been disappointing of late. Blue Moon Hitman finished just over three lengths behind the selection at Musselburgh but is now five pounds better off at the weights so comes into the reckoning. One that might go well at a big price is Be My Alibi. She ran well on this going earlier in the year, and a return to that level of form should see her go well. She was having her first run since June when running at Down Royal 40 days ago so should be sharper with that run under her belt. It came over seven furlongs, so the drop in trip could also suit to. Bear her in mind but, in a modest event, Little Ridge looks to have as good a chance as any.
