Verdict

POLAR VORTEX never looked like catching the winner when runner-up on her debut at Windsor. But that experience will stand her in good stead here and Ryan Tate's allowance further helps her cause so she gets the vote. Parsley and Gregoria are both newcomers to note but fellow debutant Lanai is a half-sister to Group 3 winning sprinter Roger Sez among others and David Barron's filly could go close. Lunar Knot may prove best of the rest unless Alpha Spirit shows a big improvement.
