In depth

Verdict

HIGHLAND ACCLAIM looks the one to beat in this. A creditable fifth in a Class 2 race at Newmarket last month, Andrew Balding's charge should be opening his account in this with a similar effort. A rating of 89 puts him way ahead of the likes of Miss Acclaimed and Llyrical so the less-exposed Lexington Abbey may prove a bigger threat back on quicker ground. Baltic Brave and Conflicting come from winning families and make most appeal of the newcomers.
