        Verdict

        It was soft going when SAIGON CITY went close at Windsor on his return. But all ground comes alike to Luca Cumani's charge as he scored twice on a fast surface last season and looks set for a return to winning ways in this. Putra Eton missed the whole of last year so there should be more to come from him as he steps up in distance but Perfect Cracker remains 7lb higher than when winning at Bath last May under today's apprentice. Wolverhampton winner All The Winds steps up in class but Raskova, Handheld and Barren Brook are all capable of getting involved at this level on the back of recent placed efforts.
